Basic qualifications include:  

High school diploma or equivalent. 

1+ years of manufacturing experience.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.  

Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends.

Ability to wear all required Fall Protection Equipment and other PPE

Ability to perform work on a ladder or in mechanical lift at height levels of approximately 30-40 ft in the air

Willing and able to adhere to all safety and EOHS standards, and wear and utilize all personal protective equipment.

Ability to bend, climb, crawl, work in confined spaces, work in hazardous condition spaces, work in extreme weather conditions, use hazardous materials, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a continual basis

Ability to work at heights of up to 300 ft

 

Preferred qualifications include: 

Technical college/vocational school certificate or Associates degree in Manufacturing – related area       preferred.

3+ years of manufacturing experience

Experience troubleshooting and repairing technical issues.

Food safety experience.

Fork Lift experience.

Experience with SAP.

Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer/ computer systems.

Tolerance for food processing smells and a dusty, non-climate controlled work environment.

Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas.

Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.

Self-directed with strong results-oriented attitude.

Planning and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to bend, climb, crawl, and work in confined spaces, and work in hazardous condition spaces for up to twelve hours per day.

  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions with temperature ranges from cold to hot and humid
  • Ability to use hazardous materials 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on continual basis.  Objects to be lifted that might weigh up to 50 pounds include large bag finished goods and raw materials.  If an employee cannot lift up to 50 pounds, the employee could not perform required quality checks which would result in a significant risk with our customers.  Additionally, failure to lift raw materials of up to 50 pounds would limit the Company’s ability to run certain product with all of the required materials.
  • Complete tasks that require working with hands overhead
  • Use a stand-up or sit-down forklift, intermittently for up to twelve hours per day 
  • Type, using a computer keyboard, intermittently for up to twelve hours per day 
  • Walk unlimited distances each day. 
  • Frequently walk up and down multiple levels of steps, multiple times a day, carrying tool bag, materials, or other supplies that weigh 25 lbs on average
  • Occasionally climb ladders or ledges, with tie-off equipment when required
  •  Frequently bend at waist 90 degrees and flex at knees 120 degrees 
  •  Wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing, eye, foot and dust protection.
  •  Frequently perform tasks in an environment that contains significant levels of dust
  •  Perceive visual and audible alarms and telephones while wearing hearing protection 
  •  Receive and transmit information in person and by telephone communications

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
