The Senior Manager, Capital Procurement will develop best in class global strategic sourcing plans, lead strategic contract negotiations and handle key internal and external partnerships to support the following categories: Capital, Real Estate, Construction Services and Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MROs), and Facilities Services.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
- Support multi year category strategy and execution plan, including all aspects of total value, innovation, sustainability, resilience, cost optimization, automation and speed.
- Define total value metrics and tracking methodology for key supplier relationships.
- Develop cost models and drive fact based cost forecasts and budget guidance for key spend.
- Update annual Category/Supplier Segmentation for Capital, Facilities Services, Real Estate, construction and MRO, and develop supplier engagement models accordingly
- Negotiate strategic supplier contracts and support and supervise key global Savings and Growth initiatives.
- Achieve or exceed the annual savings goals.
- Support Divisional teams, elevating any challenges with global suppliers.
- Identify and assess category risks, develop/implement risk mitigation plans.
Relationships and Engagement
- Lead the Global Services Procurement Supply network to implement category governance and strategic supplier relations
- Build and cultivate positive relationships with category partners to elevate the procurement role on delivering against business priorities.
- Elevate partnerships with key suppliers to drive innovation, resilience, total value via customer of choice approach.
- Lead Strategic supplier Top to top engagements and drive the Supplier Relationship Management program with identified supplier partners
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation, automation and efficiency across led spend through participation in Industry events, engagement in benchmarking exercises, and bringing category trends.
- Develop and implement any related process improvement in the category.
- Contribute to the company’s renewable energy and sustainability initiatives and goals.
Digital, Data and Analytics
- Perform detailed spend analysis, and apply spend analytics standard processes for the categories
- Be a data champion and apply analytics to drive strategy and decision making
- Actively support the Global Procurement Digital Transformation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of Procurement experience
- At least 5 years of experience managing supplier relationships, driving supplier programs and negotiating contracts with one or more of the following:
- Capital equipment (CEB/CAPEX) or Original Equipment manufacturers (OEM) and plant automation suppliers
- Facilities management or integrated facilities management (IFM) suppliers
- Plant construction projects
- Leasing contracts of machinery, equipment (e.g. forklifts) or real estate/land.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience in CPG industry
- Global experience
- People Management experience
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $151.200,00 - $171.150,00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
