Colgate-Palmolive is actively searching for a highly motivated individual to join the Research & Innovation Oral Care Group, Global R&D. This Research Technician position will support both chemistry and biology research areas by performing routine and specialized laboratory tasks. This role involves operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing and analyzing samples, maintaining laboratory supplies and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
What you will do:

Conduct experiments and tests as per established procedures and protocols.

Record and analyze data accurately, ensuring reliable and reproducible results.

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, including verifications and coordination of repairs or calibrations with vendors.

Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, including ordering and stocking.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Properly handle, store, and dispose of chemicals and biological materials in accordance with regulations.

Work closely with scientists and other team members to support ongoing projects.

Communicate findings and observations effectively through written reports and/or presentations.
Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.

Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.

Previous experience in a laboratory setting.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field

Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulations.

Ability to lift and move laboratory equipment and materials.

Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
