The Supply Services Procurement Associate Manager/Manager will lead the development of supply sourcing strategies for Colgate and Hills brands to optimize the total value of our suppliers. You will support strategic negotiations and sourcing activities across North America and Corporate Division.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage CP/Hill’s contracts, vendors, and related strategic business relationships to support the business for categories like Integrated facility management, waste management, indirect chemicals, material handling equipment, Office supplies, Cleaning services, real estate management, office leases and other miscellaneous categories
  • Deliver the category Funding the Growth savings goal. Engage with the plant engineering, operations and suppliers teams regularly to achieve optimal results
  • Conduct competitive bidding processes through the Colgate defined systems and follow the sourcing protocols defined in Colgate Global procurement policy
  • Lead budgeting exercise for all the categories in alignment with industry benchmarks and internal stakeholders
  • Implementing best in class global strategies and managing relationships and alliances with all the suppliers so that they are in tune with developments and directions of business units
  • Work collaboratively with team members, global and regional engineering teams, and suppliers to develop and monitor project plans to ensure sourcing projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Partner with vendors and business partners to develop/reevaluate risk mitigation plans
  • Lead supplier segmentation and supplier relationship management for all the suppliers under the categories
  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with our strategic partners and working with the entire supported function/business units
  • Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier innovation and efficiencies
  • Ensure organizational service, quality, sustainability, innovation, diversity, and financial goals are met
  • Gain comprehensive industry knowledge of best practices, processes, and technology trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategy
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • 7+years of experience working within the Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or a manufacturing facility
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement
  • Utilizing digital tools when solving problems and making decisions and ability to analyze data to support recommendations
  • Understanding the difference between total value vs. cost saving when making decisions

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Experience managing large scale integrated facility management suppliers
  • Experience managing/negotiating leasing contracts of machinery, equipment (e.g. forklifts) or real estate/land
  • Ability to manage relationships at different levels of the organization


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $106,400.00 - $150,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
