Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide legal advice on supply chain related issues and assist with mitigation strategies under the guidance of the Head – Legal / Chief Marketing Counsel.
  • Collaborate with Global Legal Organization (GLO) colleagues, such as Commercial Transactions Specialists, as needed, to ensure comprehensive business advice.
  • Negotiate and draft supply chain-related agreements in alignment with business objectives.
  • Liaise with global and divisional commercial lawyers to confirm consistency in supply chain advice across different markets.
  • Draft and review a variety of commercial contracts, including Vendor Contracts, Manufacturing & Supply Agreements, Contract/Third Party Manufacturing Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Service Provider Agreements, Loan Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements, Consultancy Agreements, and Real Estate documents.
  • Advise on labor laws and draft/vet responses to notices or show cause notices under labor laws and related litigation matters.
  • Support new business development initiatives, including negotiations and execution of agreements.
  • Assist the India Global Technology Centre (GTC) team with legal documentation requirements.
  • Mitigate litigation risk exposure related to business activities and employee relations, and interact with external lawyers/counsels when necessary.
  • Effectively coordinate and handle the statutory compliance portal for Supply Chain/GTC operations.
  • Assist in the approval of product artworks.
  • Depending on core competencies, the role may include opportunities to work with the Marketing Department.

 

Experience:

 

4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in the FMCG/Pharma industry preferred but not mandatory.
Demonstrated experience working with manufacturing organizations and extensive exposure to supply chain operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree in law from a reputed law college in India.
