Job Summary: 

 

  • Join our dynamic team as the key Supply Chain contact, where you will dive into essential aspects of direct material purchasing, supplier management, and foundational growth initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to lead the development and monitoring of crucial deliverables and KPIs, collaborating closely with a dedicated local Supply Chain team to foster continuous improvement and innovation.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be the key contact for the Supply Chain in all matters related to the purchasing of direct materials, addressing supplier issues, and overseeing Funding the Growth (FTG) initiatives.
  • Prepare and monitor deliverables and KPIs of the purchasing pillars (Fundamentals, Grow & Reimagined Future) while collaborating with the local Supply Chain team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Execute effective negotiations for local material purchases and ensure the implementation of negotiation strategies at Global and Regional levels with the team.
  • Implement and monitor purchasing budgets for responsible materials, maintaining accountability for material costs and validating suppliers to reduce reliance on single-sourcing and boost competitiveness.
  • Work with divisional purchasing managers to prepare the Mid Year & Cost of Sales Agenda.
  • Develop and implement projects with Planning to optimize inventories of raw materials and packaging, supporting efficiency and reliability in plant operations.
  • Ensure a high level of service for the plant through the development and maintenance of sourcing practices and by executing the Supplier Relationship Management and Holistic Risk Platform.
  • Interact with local teams to reinforce purchasing policies and align service and financial strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Area to ensure timely execution of local/export product launches in accordance with the Commercial Grid.
  • Generate and implement savings projects (FTG), promoting the use of e-tools like auctions and e-Savings to manage FTG, and lead the digital transformation of purchasing functions.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Consignment Inventory and the Supply Chain Finance Program to enhance working capital with relevant suppliers for the plant.
  • Manage the local purchasing team, including overseeing PM&D processes.
  • Provide leadership in managing the Future Cost Planning (FCP) price projection tool, ensuring accurate Annual budget foundations based on commodities, exchange rates, and micro/macroeconomic aspects.
  • Direct purchasing specialists and support their training and career development.
  • Perform any other functions related to this position as needed.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or similar with a Master's degree desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficient knowledge of the English language (90%).
  • Proficiency in SAP, BW, International Markets, Google Suits, MS Office, Internet, and project management.

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in AI and Digital Transformation.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with mentoring and coaching skills.

  • Proven ability to prepare reports such as Standard Quarterly Costs, Future Cost Planning, and Monthly Area KPIs.
  • Capable of developing Sustainability, Social Responsibility, and Compliance Reports.
  • Adaptability to report requests locally or for Divisional/Global purchases.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year).
