Responsibilities:
- Perform the activities as assigned by the Accounts Payable Team Leader following the desktop procedures (e.g., on indexing, on the process for PO and non-PO invoices) and in a timely and accurate manner;
- Prepare and analyze AP weekly and monthly reports;
- Report immediately any issue preventing the delivery of quality, timely service;
- Seek, identify, and propose to the Team Leads any process and/or system improvements to enhance productivity, and if required, contribute to their implementation;
- Identify any need for updating existing desktop procedures and processes, and communicate this need to the Accounts Payable Team Leader;
- Attend the training as requested by the Team Leader and/or Process Manager, and, if needed, request further training.
Qualifications:
- Student or completed degree of studies (Finance/Accounting will be an asset)
- Good command of English
- Good command of French will be an asset
- Experience in finance/accountancy will be an asset (ex. Internship)
- Good organization and coordination skills
- High level of proactiveness, independence and ownership of the tasks assigned
- Process orientation and attention to details
- Ability to work in teams and with deadlines
- Eagerness to learn & develop
