We are seeking motivated individuals to join the Colgate-Palmolive Villawood Home Care manufacturing team on a fixed term basis.


We are hiring for Manufacturing Team Members (MTMs) who are responsible for working in a team to successfully accomplish business objectives: 

 

  • Producing a range of Colgate products including Liquid Home Care and Fabric Conditioners 
  • Working safely according to Villawood principles and guidelines 
  • Identifying opportunities for Continuous Improvement 
  • Solving problems in the manufacturing environment 
  • Working in a team to achieve production targets 
  • Ensuring product meets all quality specifications 
  • Maintaining environmental standards in regard to the manufacture of Colgate product 

 

Essential Skills: 

  • Experience as a Machine Operator in FMCG
  • Ability to work in a technically advanced / automated manufacturing environment 
  • Problem solving and ability to respond efficiently to production breakdowns 
  • Communication (written and verbal) 
  • Ability to record and analyse basic production data 
  • Basic computer skills (Windows/Google applications) 
  • Teamwork/relationship building/collaboration skills 

 

Personal attributes required: 

  • Will be fully committed to achieving the company’s business goals 
  • Have a high regard for their own safety and safety of others 
  • Are capable of accepting responsibility 
  • Are team players 
  • Are flexible to work shift work (Day or Afternoon) as required

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Forklift License essential  
  • Trade Qualifications are highly regarded
