To achieve this mission, we are searching for a highly motivated and driven Business Human Resources Associate to join our dynamic team. You will work with our HR team in Hill’s-Colgate (Japan) ltd. in all HR related activities and play a crucial role in supporting our business growth and building a thriving workplace culture.
What you will do:
- Business HR
- You'll work closely with Hill’s Japan Business HR and COHRE teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance performance and anticipate business needs. By understanding the local market and external factors, you will contribute valuable insights to decision-making processes.
- As an integral part of our HR team, you'll help execute HR strategies, policies, and programs, including capability development, talent management, employee engagement, cultural transformation and organizational development. Your contributions will directly impact rewards & recognition, employer brand, development and learning initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition
- You will coordinate the talent acquisition activities to ensure recruiting best-in-class talents. Setting up the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, organizing interviews / debriefing, communicating with hiring managers, candidates and agencies.
- You will coordinate and deliver pre-boarding tasks and onboarding sessions for new hires.
- You will be responsible for the recruiting activities and the contracts management for B-P staff (temporary workers).
- Employee Engagement & Organization Culture

In partnership with relevant stakeholders, you will be responsible for planning and execution of the employee recognition program activities (YCMAD / Service awards / Local recognition programs and local events) in line with company strategy, budgets and objectives

You will be instrumental in supporting leaders’ initiatives to create and maintain positive employee relations work.

You will plan and drive the cultural transformation to embed a growth mindset aligning with C-P value and LIFT (Leadership Principle).

You will take the lead in internal communication (Newsletter, CoLab, Townhall, Employee events, HCJ Communication, Video letter).

You will implement Employer Value Proposition aligning with Global C-P and Hill's Division/ Asia Region to attract talent with elevating the Employer Branding (incl. LinkedIn, External awards, Article, etc.).

You will ideate, plan and deliver local activities involving employees to create a sense of belonging.

- Learning Delivery
- Ensure learning delivery activities are performed accurately, planning and execution of the training logistics.
- Connect with the delivery support specialist and Learning Leader to escalate any logistic issue / improvement opportunity.
- Post-training session activities (e.g., submit completion data)
- HR Data and Process
- You will manage HR-related processes from on-boarding to off-boarding, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the HR data management in compliance with processes and requirements locally and globally.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related subject area,
- At least 3 years of dynamic HR experience
- At least 3 years Experience in implementation of HR initiatives
- At least 3 years in at least one HR Specialty Area (Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Business level English and native level Japanese (both spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- At least 2 years in consumer products industry
