Job Purpose
Our Customer Development Industrial Placement is crafted to develop you as a high performing individual that will enable sustainable business growth in highly competitive markets and help us to build a future you can smile about. Over the duration of the industrial placement, you will be a key member of our Customer Development team supporting the Amazon business. The Customer Development organisation is passionate about ensuring our products are available, highly visible and supported with outstanding 5P strategies at the shelves of all retail environments that sell our categories. We achieve our goals by building strong engagement with the trade to drive strong sell-in and sell-out, acting with efficiency and having a dedicated focus on excellence in execution. With today’s constantly evolving trade environment, broadening customer needs and shifting consumer and shopper expectations, new demands are being placed on Customer Development and the Commercial Organisation worldwide. To deliver outstanding business results, we must adopt a broader commercial perspective, be more category and shopper centric, engage more deeply with our customers and service providers and ensure excellence in the execution of our plans. You will be a key driver in ensuring Colgate-Palmolive can meet our targets and allow the business to thrive in the future.

 

What you will do:

  • Catalogue and Digital shelf: Ensure brilliant basics, accurate volume planning, Digital content, new line forms and catalogue fundamentals are in place.
  • PO and Rebates support: Regularly review and analyse PO cut reports, submit price form submissions, lead rebates and dispute chargebacks.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Actively collaborate with the Retail Marketing, Finance and Supply teams to align processes, resolve issues, and ensure excellence in execution.
  • Data Driven analysis: Leverage data to ensure Growth plans
  • Follow-up and Issue Resolution: Diligently follow up on any pending issues related to price discrepancies, content, catalogue, etc
