As the Logistics and Distribution Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Colgate Palmolive South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia) logistics strategy to ensure effective and efficient delivery to our Global and Local retailers and distributors with cross functional collaborations.
What you will do
- Lead the strategy of factory warehouse operations in finished goods shuttling.
- Ensure operation procedure compliance to GMP, storage & handling, product conformance and product traceability quality standards and SOX Compliance both in factory warehouse and 3PL.
- Oversee intercompany export operation by ensuring full recovery of warehouse and logistic spending, full compliance of custom declaration with supporting documentation and SOP in place to drive end to end export logistic planning.
- Partner with Global Logistic team to finalize global ocean bid and ensure on time implementation with appointed Global freight forwarder.
- Oversee Indonesia inbound logistic strategy and planning, ensuring full compliance of regulatory registration to support custom declaration.
- Oversee order to invoice team for order processing, provides direction and support.
- Oversee Authorized Economic Operator operation to support export custom declaration and import clearance through green lane. Ensure 100% data accuracy in AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) system, ensure full compliance of documentation and on time payment to support custom audit and SST claim back.
- Oversee co-packing operation internally and externally to deliver promo planning grid inclusive establishing co-packing RFP procedure, initiate production capacity study to improve line utilization for cost optimization, ensure co-packer performance tracking in place and full compliance to quality conformance standard.
- Full involvement with 3PL (third party logistic) on managing warehousing, freight management and logistics management for inbound & trade distribution, not limited to cost model revision and performance bonus approval as per contract guideline.
- Owns CS&L department budgeting, which covers NVO, warehousing, logistics, freight and co-packing spending. Ensure full control of spending by delivering the target.
- Lead and develop logistics (warehouse & freight) strategies for SAH.
- Lead audits related to internal and external warehouse and co-packing.
- Lead S4 Hana for warehouse
- Drive FTG (Funding The Growth) initiatives to deliver department goals.
- Drive efficiencies in warehousing and freight (inbound & outbound).
- Lead and develop the Logistics team via a robust career development plan, capabilities building, ongoing coaching, and annual employee training.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent from an accredited college or university
- Relevant work experience with prior experience in Customer Service, Logistics Operations, Demand/Supply Planning, Purchasing or Global Supply Chain collaboration are desirable
- Leadership experience in a Multinational Company (MNC) setup
- Excellent communication skills (both internally & externally) and analytical are a must
- SAP experience is highly recommended /Utilization of Supply Chain system, data, tools using SAP
