We are looking for a highly motivated Operation Coordinator to join our team! This role effectively leads the Making production area, continuous improvement, guarantees all good manufacturing practices, coordinates the production team and supports projects and improvements in the making area. Also, it contributes to business and plant results while assuring an efficient production execution and positive employee relations. The Operation Coordinator works within a structure that requires continuous learning, considerable interaction with other team members as well as production units and support functions, also guides and empowers teams in the implementation of the plant strategy.

 

What You Will Do

  • Accountable for the quality and efficiency of the production department, and its ability to deliver high levels of service to the Liquids Department.
  • Management of personnel strategies, in relation to the operational team, obtaining better results from batch cycle time, quality and impacts in the finishing line.
  • Manage Production team in 3 shifts for Home and Personal Care.
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures for staffing, shift schedule, vacation scheduling, and training to meet business needs
  • Manage the development and implementation of the daily activities in a way that ensures high performance of the team and equipment.
  • Manage materials inventory for making area.
  • Manage the receiving and material analysis area.
  • Identify, recommend and implement improvements in Making area and activities. 
  • Support the implementation of projects assigned to the area on Funding the Growth (FTG), Reimagined Strategy Projects, Capital Equipment Budget (CEB), continuous improvement.
  • Communicate and implement the local Supply Chain vision, mission, strategy and objectives within the plant
  • Ensure effective communication within the teams
  • Empower team members by way of training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals and delegation, to ensure the development of people, teams and capabilities
  • Accountable for adhering to CP, local and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality and Regulatory
  • Be a facilitator / sponsor of the line or of autonomous groups of the plant.
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Mechanics, Chemical or Materials Engineer, or related 
  • Solid experience in production
  • Solid experience in a similar business field
  • Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Advanced English
  • Presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) or Google Suite (docs, slides, sheets).

 

It is preferred: 

  • Experience with SAP system 
  • Experience with WCM (World Class Manufacturing) 
  • Knowledge and experience with liquids making in a similar category
