This is a great opportunity for a HR professional who is looking to build develop HR career in a successful and growing company. The HR business partner position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resources related issues. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for duties associated with the full employee lifecycle in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, organization design, employee relations and compensation for an assigned group.

 

In this role, you will… 

  • Conduct talent processes including onboarding, talent management, development planning and termination processes for respective client groups;
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies;
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations;
  • Respond to employee requests and inquiries and when necessary, direct employees to relevant policies or documentation;
  • Partner with employees and managers regarding HR issues, HR processes and guidelines.;
  • Partner with managers in career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, talent management, hiring strategy and strategic development;
  • Execute Align’s human capital strategy surrounding organizational design, leadership, capabilities, and culture;
  • In support of an organization’s talent management strategy, work with the business to close gaps via training and/or developmental opportunities;
  • Represent the Human Resources function with cross-functional teams on company-wide initiatives and projects;
  • Participate in and/or lead miscellaneous projects and programs as needed.

 

In this role, you'll need … 

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience; MBA and/or PHR certification desire;
  • Solid Human Resources experience in a fast paced, professional environment;
  • Proven experience as HRBP for supply chain areas;
  • Solid experience in employee life cycle management from orientation to termination;
  • Strong problem-solving and excellent interpersonal and verbal/communication written communication skills;
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority;
  • Exposure to compensation programs such as merit, bonus, and stock programs;
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices and experience dealing with employee relations issues and investigations;
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize work based on demand; highly organized and have strong problem-solving skills;
  • Results driven, self- starter with high attention to detail and sense of urgency;
  • Must be highly customer-oriented and have a successful track interfacing with employees;
  • English - Advanced 
  • Portuguese - Advanced
