Objective:

Ensure the accurate forecasting of product demand to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and meet customer service goals. This involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to create a reliable demand plan that supports the company's strategic objectives and operational efficiency.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using statistical models and market analysis.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate promotional activities and new product launches into the forecast.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Work with Inventory to monitor levels and adjust supply plans as needed.
  • Communicate demand forecasts and inventory plans to stakeholders.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to demand planning.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on demand planning performance.
  • Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools.
  • Identify risks in demand forecasts and develop contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing for new product demand forecasts.
  • Manage new and discontinued products
  • Utilize advanced analytics and reporting tools for insights.
  • Train and mentor junior demand planners.
  • Lead special projects and develop presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with promotional plans and synchronize business plans.
  • Coordinate and communicate supply risks to the commercial team.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Capability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • Experience in Demand Planning 
  • Advanced English;
  • Google Tools.
  • Analytics skills 
  • Communication skills
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and tools (e.g., SAP APO)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and database management (e.g., SQL).
