Job Summary

 

The Associate Regional Brand Manager is responsible for supporting and/or developing  marketing strategies and actions to deliver Growth Plan behind specific projects and/or brands.  Responsibilities include support definition of innovation pipeline, support in new product development including volume, sales, financial assumptions, and support model assumptions. The role is also responsible for ensuring progress, monitoring and product launch post evaluations to maximize the return on investment. Provides support in development of media strategies at brand specific level and manages the different digital components within the media plans. For specifically assigned projects or brands, the position is also responsible for ensuring effective communication with Latam Innovation Groups, Network Operations and Regional Insights, and leads analysis and supports the execution of Funding The Growth (FTG), simplification and Revenue Growth Management initiatives across the region.

 

Essential Functions

Develops Growth Plan behind assigned projects or specific brands, clearly defining key growth opportunities, priorities and plan outline which serves as guidelines to build annual targets on Vol, NS, GTN and SOM objectives, innovation & shopper grids, ADV investment.

Responsible for the assigned brand P&L’s. Monitor & explain variations in Volume, Net Sales and Margin.

Support in the development of the innovation strategy and innovation pipeline readiness which includes development of project briefs, packaging briefs, ensures regulatory compliance and BOH registration, effective forecasting, SKU readiness across systems, packaging AW creation and/or approval.

For specific projects, needs to ensure Legal and regulatory claim approval as well as leadership approval of specific project briefs via the Maestro Composer tool.

Ensures collaboration with the Division, Brand Innovation Group, Network Operations and marketing peers in Latam or the US, in order to secure alignment, benchmarking and information gathering.

Supports development of the Go to Market strategy at regional level, collaborating with BDMs to ensure local relevance. The development of this Go To Market includes: major promotional events, new product launches/ re-launches, line extensions and shopper initiatives.

Supports the development and ensures implementation of Regional 5 P’s (portfolio/ pricing/promotions/placement/POP) strategies for the assigned brand, taking into consideration dynamics of each operation.

Support the development of brand strategy presentations and Mid Year Review and Budget Review analysis.

Analyze Key Performance Indicators to identify local issues and business opportunities with focus on $SOM, Net Sales, Volume & Distribution at country level.

Identifies consumer/shopper insights needs for the assigned brand and collaborates with Insights team.

Support development of brand media briefs, brief for adaptation or development of creative assets across different touch points. Is responsible to provide feedback on creative development for the assigned brands.

Supports the implementation of agreed media strategies, monitoring of monthly media plans and suggests adjustments / recommendations.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar.

At least 1 years Working experience in marketing and/or similar positions.

At least 1 Year As part of the DR Trainee program within Colgate-Palmolive.
