Scope of Responsibility:

The Warehouse Coordinator will manage and drive Continuous Improvement in inventory control for raw and packaged materials and inbound supplier activity.  The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for activities that support the movement and control of materials in the facility.  This role works together with a team to achieve business objectives of safety, quality, productivity, customer service, cost, and environmental protection.  To manage Warehouse workflows effectively this role requires strong partnership with peers, leadership and cross-functional teams.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and tracking of materials consumptions and its impacts to Absolute Material Loss (AML)

  • Identification of opportunities in process and production to reduce AML

  • Weekly cycle counts of inventory, reporting discrepancies to finance  and making timely adjustments in SAP.

  • Performing critical tasks in SAP, including processing material movements and investigation and correction of issues with materials
    Provide daily direction to Material Handlers to coordinate inventory movements and shipping/receiving needs.

  • Work closely with planning to create Purchase Orders for materials based on planning forecasts.

  • Proactively manage communications with suppliers on the expected delivery dates and make changes in the system accordingly.

  • Perform warehouse capacity analysis to get picture of the health of the warehouse

  • Assists in the implementation of new materials

  • Manage Forklift maintenance contract with vendor

  • Facilitate all waste load pickups

  • Execute Continuous Improvement projects and participate in Kaizen events related to inventory management

  • Promote knowledge sharing and learning to Operations Team Leaders, Operations Technicians Operations Associates and Material Handlers on new processes and best practices to reduce material losses

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 5+ years of functional experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated competency in problem solving/decision making, effective communication, results oriented

  • Proficient working experience with Manufacturing Operations Softwares (i.e. SAP, Opera)

  • Demonstrated competency of attention to detail, work standards/SOPs and must show initiative in managing work

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to deliver results

  • Ability to work overtime as needed (required during end of month activities)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Warehouse Operations/Material Handling

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical college/vocational Certificate school certificate or Associates degree in a related field required

  • Planning  and/or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency with Google Suite collaboration tools (G-doc, sheets, slides, etc), SAP consumption process, Opera and InBatch systems and 3PL processes and activities

 Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $  - $ USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
