The Shift Support will be responsible for the planning and coordination of resources and materials for optimal execution of the daily production activities, including coordinating inventory staging and management, and daily recording and analysis of various documents utilized during production.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support month-end reporting by managing daily physical inventory confirmations and adjustments in SAP including:

    • Confirmation of all Work in Progress and Finished Goods materials

    • Adjusting inventory for end of lots, in-house damage, cycle counting, scrap production, material requests, etc.

    • Investigating and reporting on deviations and trends.

  • Understand production schedule and existing inventories to coordinate the effective distribution and staging of product and raw/pack materials.

  • Utilize SAP for various purposes and transactions, including:

    • Ensuring the accurate reporting of shift production; i.e. timely completion of supporting documentation by each production line

    • Performing troubleshooting of transactions, i.e. those used for Finished Goods Scheduling, Bulk Batches, PID Issuing.

  • Perform physical inventory count cycles and investigate and report on deviations & trends

  • Identify pallets printing/changing Handling Units (HUs)

  • Develop SOPs and review on an annual basis

  • Prepare information for shift transition meetings, including production KPIs and key downtime factors.

  • Lead small group meetings on the shopfloor.

  • Review cGMP production process paperwork for missing or incorrect information. Data entry of information from production process paperwork into multiple databases on Google Workspace.

  • Prepare data & analysis for performance review meetings.

  • Perform physical inventory cycle counts and investigate deviations.

  • Manage rejection log & scrap processes for materials that have been rejected or scrapped.

  • Create floss orders.

  • Assist with Non-conformance investigations & CAPAs as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • 4+ years functional experience supporting manufacturing operations

  • Demonstrated competency in problem solving/decision making, effective communication, results oriented

  • Experience working with analytical tools to produce insights; and ability to present data visually

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, comfortable operating within work standards/SOPs

  • Self-driven initiative approach toward managing work

  • Ability to work a split-shift schedule to provide coverage overlapping 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional evening and weekend overtime as needed.

  • Flexibility to work evening shifts as needed for month-, quarter-, and year-end inventory confirmations. 

 

Preferred:

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical certification preferred

  • Working knowledge and 1+ years of proficiency with Google Suite Collaboration Tools, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides

  • SAP inventory confirmation processes

  • Opera, Augmentir and InBatch systems

  • Understanding of Lean methodology


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
