This position will support the formulation of a Master Parts list to be used for the Maintenance Program at Tom’s of Maine.  Day-to-day, this role will partner closely with our Maintenance Group, Internal Programmers and key cross-functionals and lead the development an electronic-based program to support both Preventative and Predictive Maintenance.

 

This position will be based onsite at our Sanford, ME location.

 

Core Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a complete master parts list to be linked to the ColgateStandard Parts List in SAP

  • Reviewing all planned work requests from the assigned area

    • Determining validity and accuracy of information and engaging the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority

    • Discussing details with the originator to ensuring clear scope of work and correct equipment identification

  • Utilizing Augmentir to developing the Status of Work control and the Backlog of Work Order Submission to Work Order Completion

  • Maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) in SAP PM

  • Work with local programmers to ensure the parts list is accessible in Augmentir

  • Assisting in the development of the Maintenance Module in Augmentir

  • Assisting the maintenance staff as needed

  • Following Colgate-Palmolive guidelines related to Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, and Regulatory within area of responsibility

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of High School Diploma or equivalency

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to present reports, lead meetings, and review/write SOPs.

  • Ability to perform climbing, bending, kneeling and the ability to lift 50 pounds
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active pursuit of an Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

  • Working knowledge/proficiency in SAP

  • Mechanical aptitude


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $22.50 - $27.50 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
