Job Title:
The Manufacturing Systems Engineer is responsible for implementing manufacturing systems projects, providing technical support, and assisting with daily activities. This role ensures the proper use of human, technical, and financial resources in accordance with the directives and goals set by the manufacturing systems management. The engineer will plan, coordinate, and supervise assigned projects to meet manufacturing alignment requirements, providing end users with tools to enhance productivity indicators in a safe environment. This includes integrating related technical support tasks from development, supply chain, IT security, industrial safety and hygiene, quality, and environmental control. The role also ensures that infrastructure, programming, hardware, and software standards comply with established validation protocols and global IT/PFS guidelines. Additionally, the engineer will offer consultancy on technology project initiatives, reinforcing infrastructure and software standards with automation areas to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement projects and initiatives under the area's responsibility, adhering to global guidelines and benefiting the company by focusing on productive processes and complying with PFS and GIT standards and validation protocols.
- Work on the development of assigned projects using global project methodologies, planning, and drafting detailed scopes and specifications to meet design specifications, CEB budget control, testing, documentation, training, and execution timings.
- Ensure correct application usage and provide required technical support through regular meetings.
- Supervise external personnel involved in infrastructure, application programming, or automation and control to guarantee delivery in terms of safety, timing, and project specifications.
- Maintain project management documentation and update technical information, manuals, scripts, licenses, change control, validation protocol folders for technical support, audits, and internal control, including maintenance and backup schedules.
- Manage and maintain OPERA infrastructure related to MF network, servers, connectivity, drivers, communication protocols, control network, PLCs, IDFs, IDZs, Thin Clients, Strong Arms, Switch, UPS.
- Execute software and hardware technical upgrades as per the annual plan, including cybersecurity actions as required to align with GIT and global guidelines.
- Provide infrastructure guidelines for project engineering, automation, and focus factory control to ensure global standards compliance.
- Plan and manage the efficient use of CEB & NVOS budget, executing tasks within the planned budget.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation and Control or related fields.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider) and SCADA and Manufacturing Systems Execution.
