In today’s rapidly evolving eCommerce landscape, joining the eCommerce Customer Development team at Colgate-Palmolive presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic digital growth. We are seeking a motivated eCommerce Customer Development Manager to oversee our Personal Care & Home Care eCommerce business with Walmart, focused on driving strategic digital growth initiatives.
Your role will involve translating brand strategies into effective digital sales and marketing plans to enhance Colgate's brands and categories online performance. This position requires collaboration with the Marketing, Retail Marketing, Digital Commerce, and Content teams in New York.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about eCommerce and brings Customer and/or eCommerce expertise, to establish Colgate as Walmart's preferred partner for mutual digital category growth. Ideally, you have experience in managing eCommerce businesses and can develop strategic plans to enhance brand engagement with customers. You should excel at optimizing content to captivate shoppers, analyzing data to understand growth opportunities and shopper behavior, and work closely with buyers to ensure successful partnerships and mutual growth.
What you will do:
- Lead the digital engagement with Walmart, based on deep understanding of customer needs and operations, digital shoppers and category knowledge
- Develop and execute comprehensive eCommerce strategies to drive online sales growth and market share on Walmart.com (Site & App)
- Master data analytics tools to monitor eCommerce performance metrics, analyze trends, and generate insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Own the eCommerce P&L and deliver on all KPls including Net Sales, GTN, Profit, Market Share and executional excellence. You'll also need to have a customer lens & be focused on delivering their JBP goals on sales & profit developing strategies to grow Colgate & Walmart's share of market
- Analyze Walmart Scintilla data to generate insights & opportunities to engage your customer contacts and drive growth for our Personal & Home Care business
- Bring digital expertise to strengthen Colgate innovation and support plans to your key walmart contacts in annual line reviews. You'll also need to be able to provide portfolio recommendations for Walmart.com depending on shopper needs & trends
- Work with Walmart's eCommerce supply chain teams as well as Colgate's CPFR teams to ensure our products are always in stock and available online
- Own all elements of the ecommerce planning, manage 5Ps, forecasting and planning from beginning to end internally & externally.
- Influence cross-functional partners to ensure effective execution of search, content & shopper marketing activities based on strong customer understanding
- Be the Champion of eCommerce within Colgate Palmolive’s Walmart Team & share best practice in the organization

Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in commercial roles working with omni or online customers in the consumer goods (or similar space)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners like Walmart
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides and more)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Walmart data tools including Scintilla, Digital Landscapes and Supplier One, and Digital industry tools for Digital Shelf
- eCommerce Customer experience, managing retail accounts like Walmart
- Customer Management, Digital agency, Shopper or Marketing experience
- A proactive, entrepreneurial, team-oriented attitude to driving results
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $94,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
