In today’s dynamic retail environment, joining the Customer Development team at Colgate-Palmolive presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic growth. We are seeking a motivated Associate Customer Development Manager focused on supporting strategic growth initiatives. In this role, you will assist in managing strategic and operational activities for product lines such as Tom’s of Maine, hello, Colgate Kids Oral Care, Trial and Travel, Baby, Holiday, and Oral Care Feature Planning. Reporting to the Customer Development Manager, you will play a vital part in supporting the management of over $100MM in Net Sales.
What you will do:
- Assist in implementing business strategies and supporting execution for our Walmart Team product lines to meet performance targets
- Support the delivery of project management tasks, contributing to an environment where team members are encouraged to develop their skills
- Communicate and collaborate across various teams to ensure alignment on objectives and strategies
- Assist in analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) data to support performance optimization and financial goal achievement
- Apply an analytical approach to help assess market trends, identify opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making
- Support the engagement with Walmart by assisting in building partnerships and understanding customer needs
- Supporting the enhancement of our Walmart Oral Health Initiatives by fostering collaboration alongside our Bright Smiles Bright Futures, and Team Smile teams
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive and innovative team environment that encourages collaboration and continuous learning

Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3-4+ years of experience in sales roles or adjacent fields
- Some experience in project management or supporting teams in dynamic environments
- Basic understanding of P&L concepts and an eagerness to develop analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Slides
Preferred qualifications
- Good communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively across different functions
- Desire and ability to engage effectively with customers and build solid business relationships
- A team-oriented attitude with a proactive, innovative approach to driving results
- Experience in consumer packaged goods
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $83,200.00 - $133,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
