Main Purpose:

As a Business Development Executive within the Hill’s organization, this position is responsible for implementing and ensuring execution and compliance with strategies and sales plans in order to drive profitable sales and market share growth. They also manage Distributors making sure we are providing the accurate guidance and support to develop the market within the distribution area. The BDE also leads yearly JBP implementation assuring the Distributor is following the aligned critical metrics improving the agreed available tools/resources while leading commercial funds. This position serves also as the technical liaison for the Distributor Sales team being responsible for consulting, mentor and training Distributors sales reps and technical teams to drive sales and increase Vet recommendation.


In essence, we’re looking for a highly driven commercial person who is passionate about pet nutrition that can take our company to the next level!
 

Main Responsibilites:

  • Achieve sales, volume, margin and SOM targets through excellence in 6P plan execution.
  • Implement National activity grid & lead commercial funds.
  • Ensure in-depth knowledge of the marketplace and the channel. By understanding key drivers of business, adequate monitoring and adjusting plans or proactively making realistic recommendations as appropriate to achieve or exceed business goals.
  • Lead Distributor JBP implementation & tracking.
  • Monitor distributors’ T&Cs and agreed important metrics actively support the achievement.
  • Support the distributor for a consistent implementation of the sales and technical coverage plan (incl. Virtual calls). Monitor periodically clinic classification, call frequency, territory coverage and efficiency KPI’s and recommend remedial plans when needed.
  • Close teamwork & support to distributors’ partners.
  • Conduct monthly distributors’ sales reps technical training & business update.
  • Ongoing field coaching & sales team engagement.
  • Participate in key customers (relevant clinics & pet stores) meetings & JBP implementation.
  • Possesses good organization skills and needs little to no supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Progressive experience in sales or related areas (indirect channel preferred)
  • Google G Suite or Microsoft Office
