1.- JOB OBJECTIVES
Responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement for MRO Services for Colgate NA, Hills NA and Corporate Division conducting detailed spend, cost and market analysis and a structured approach to tendering and negotiating with suppliers. Develop and maintain vendor relationships including tracking and analysis of vendor spend and performance. While keeping an elevated engagement and alignment with our internal stakeholders and external partners to address the top business priorities, optimize the supply of these services and address cost reduction opportunities.
This role directly manages $70 MM in annual spend and attends ( 14 sites - Manufacturing Location and Offices)
2.- JOB EXPECTATIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy for Maintenance, repair and Operational spend including but not limited to maintenance & repair services, indirect packing materials, quality & lab services, spare parts, vending & OEM (Non CEB) spend

Apply spend analytics best practices, and do frequent deep dives in the assigned categories.

Update annual Supplier Segmentation in the category and risk management

Identify opportunities for cost savings or optimization along with managing the global funding the growth program for NA / Hills supply services team. Engage with the plant engineering teams regularly to achieve the annual goal.

Ensure organizational service, quality, sustainability, innovation, diversity, and financial goals are met.

Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with our strategic partners and working with the entire supported function/business units.

Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier innovation and efficiencies.

Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) approvals, ensure negotiation via eSourcing tools following the compliance defined for NA / Hills plants, Supplier Code of Conduct sign off, etc.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key vendors. They will ensure compliance with contractual terms, monitor supplier performance, and resolve any issues

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and follow Stakeholder engagement best practices to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.

Engage senior leaders in the Division as well as global for category strategy and performance delivery

Stay updated with industry developments and best practices to effectively manage the category strategy.
3.- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 4 years of experience working within the Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and/or a manufacturing facility.

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or relevant field.

Good understanding of project management methodologies and e-Procurement processes and tools.

An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPM, CPIM, or Project Management) is desirable.

Experience managing/negotiating:Capital Equipment (CEB) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and plant automation suppliers and contracts.

Be a highly capable negotiator able to handle significant amounts of ambiguity and negotiating conditions
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $100,000.00 - $114,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
