We are excited to invite applications for the position of Marketing Cloud Architect within our  Global Digital Applications Team. Operating within the world’s leading Oral Care Company, we are using some of the leading cloud based marketing technology to digitally connect. As a Marketing Cloud Architect, you will play a critical role in a variety of technical processes, including planning, business and data analysis, functional and technical design, and developing and maintaining our backend data structures and integrations. 


The ideal candidate is customer focused and can work well both independently and within a team. You should also be a self-starter- eager to learn and use new technologies to build the best digital experience for our customers.
 
What you will do: 

  • Lead and support technical requirements gathering, solution design, process improvement, and implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Data Cloud across various projects
  • Serve as the expert and lead marketing cloud architect for end-to-end customer experience and marketing solutions
  • Partner with digital marketing, analytics, and business teams to develop multi-channel campaigns, integrate relevant customer data, and drive campaign creation, execution, and reporting
  • Develop marketing automation capabilities to support user adoption, engagement and define KPIs, and perform data analysis and modeling to enhance audience targeting
  • Research and recommend new digital marketing technologies to advance capabilities in data acquisition, digital marketing, and marketing analytics
  • Provide recommendations into estimating engagement activities, document knowledge and best practices, and liaise with software vendors and agency partners to deliver global solutions


Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience with minimum of 4 years of implementation and support experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM / Marketing Automation experience including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Advertising Studio, and Mobile Studio
  • Minimum of 2 years data integration development experience
  • Ability to apply agile methodology and sprint development to lead project implementations and backlogs 
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer relationship-building, organizational, and project management skills 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform including Big Query, and Apache Airflow, Cloud Functions, Apigee/API gateway, and middleware development
  • Hands-on platform experience on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or other SFMC ecosystem platforms
  • Experience in working with large complex datasets to derive insight using  SQL and Excel
  • Experience using and implementing additional marketing technology including Google Analytics 4 and SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya)
  • Experience leading large full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including other SFMC ecosystem technologies, cloud-based marketing solutions, integration services and data modeling


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
