Manager, Certification & Compliance

The Manager, Certification & Compliance is responsible for overseeing plant audits, including those of external manufacturers, to ensure compliance with international and regional regulatory standards. This role involves developing proposed corrective actions, sharing best practices, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The individual upholds and drives compliance across all manufacturing and technology facilities globally, maintaining the integrity of our brands.

What you will do

  • Conduct Audits:

    • Perform comprehensive audits of plants and external manufacturers to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

  • Corrective Actions:

    • Assist sites in developing and implementing corrective actions for audit findings

    • Facilitate the sharing of best practices across sites to ensure uniform adherence to compliance standards

    • Drive closure in compliance gaps, ensuring business continuity

  • Standards Review:

    • Provide input for the review and continuous improvement of global standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    • Collaborate with the Quality Learning and Development Team to keep Global documentation up-to-date with regulatory developments.

  • Training & Support:

    • Offer training, coaching, and leadership to site personnel to enhance compliance practices

    • Educate staff on the importance of regulatory standards and audit readiness

    • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Tech Transfer and Quality Systems Support

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing compliance and quality

    • Monitor audit outcomes and compliance metrics to identify areas for improvement

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure high standards of quality and regulatory compliance are maintained across all operations

    • Uphold and drive compliance levels for all manufacturing and technology facilities globally

    • Ensure the enforcement of regulatory compliance, maintaining the integrity of our brands

    • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections, ensuring all necessary documentation and procedures are in place

  • Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Track audit outcomes and compliance metrics, providing regular reports to the Global Quality Compliance Leader

    • Use data analytics to identify trends and proactively address potential compliance issues

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Maintain strong collaboration skills to ensure effective problem solving and closure of compliance issues

    • Present well and communicate articulately to all levels of management, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of audit results

    • Remain resilient in the face of adversity when delivering challenging audit results, using these opportunities to drive CEB investments at sites

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Education, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or a related field

  • Proven experience with plant audits and managing compliance programs

  • Familiarity with international and regional regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Effective project management and leadership skills

  • Subject matter expertise in Tech Transfer and Quality Systems Support


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $112,000.00 - $157,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
