We are looking for a forward-thinking Solutions Architect to join our Digital IT team. Focused on our Pet Nutrition Division, you will be responsible for defining platform architecture across our Global Digital landscape to ensure scalable solutions across our Martech, AdTech and eComm Tech stacks.
You will join a team of passionate, talented technologists who collaborate to design and build cutting-edge experience & marketing data solutions to power Hill’s Digital Transformation and deliver measurable business value. This position is based out of Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship not available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the expert and overall solution design owner of end-to-end customer experience and marketing solutions
- Take a future-proof approach to the full solutioning process (Ideation, Discovery, and Build), as well as ongoing enhancements and platform expansions
- Continuously review Hill’s tech stacks against new market needs to find opportunities to optimize, drive cost efficiencies and performance and elevate the digital user experience
- Partner with central Enterprise Architecture team to define and govern standards for digital ecosystem
- Engage in technical resource planning and level-of-effort estimation to support project scoping, pricing, and planning incl SOW negotiations for internal and external staff augmentation
- Collaborate & negotiate with business leaders, product managers, technology leads, and domain experts to create, deliver, and refine innovative digital solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years in IT, including 3+ years in designing and implementing digital/data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with marketing data technologies and integration using tools like Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, or Google.
- Proficient in public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for cloud compute, data storage, and workflow orchestration.
- Understanding of API solutions, backend development (Java/Ruby/Node.js/Python), and modern frontend frameworks (React/Express JS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Influence & Leadership: Effective at influencing teams, fostering relationships, and motivating cross-functional collaboration.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with backend (Java/Ruby/Node.js/Python) and frontend frameworks (React/Express JS) aligned with MACH principles.
- Data Integration & Management: Experienced with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend) and APIs (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi) for digital commerce solutions.
- Data Platforms: Knowledgeable in both relational and non-relational data platforms (MS SQL, MySQL, Amazon Redshift, MongoDB, Snowflake).
- Ecommerce & Transformation: Experience in CPG ecommerce, customer data analytics, and implementing digital business transformations.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $115,200.00 - $171,150.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
