We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Maintenance team in our Piraeus plant!
The role : Maintenance Technician - Mechanic
After receiving the appropriate training, you will integrate in the Maintenance team, and you will be responsible to :
- Troubleshoot, perform major and minor repairs and preventive maintenance as required to ensure equipment and utilities reliability and ongoing production.
- Understand and adhere to all Safety, Quality, Factory Performance and Reliability standards and guidelines.
- Ensure completion of work orders as scheduled and document in SAP in timely manner. Support the SAP Maintenance Notifications and Work Orders management.
- Confirm in-house availability of tools, consumables, change and spare parts required to keep production running.
- Support accounting processes for delivery notes and invoices of the spare parts .
- Accurately store tools, change parts and spare parts in appropriate locations.
- Utilise maintenance shop equipment including drill press, etc.
- Highlight potential maintenance issues and take corrective action including parts requisitioning and maintenance planning.
- Share knowledge and develop maintenance skills in other team members. Actively, participate in continuous learning opportunities.
What you need for this position:
- Academic background: Technological Educational Institute (TEI) related to Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical school
- Communication skills: Excellent command of Greek and English languages
- Ability to use computer systems like SAP, Word, Excel and email.
- Willing and able to work in shifts
- Completed military service
- Ability to communicate optimally with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively with others
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them
It’s an advantage to have:
- 3-5 years of industrial experience in maintenance department
- Previous SAP-PM/EAM experience (or equivalent CMMS software)
