We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Marketing Team. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing on behalf of Hill’s commercial teams.  More specifically, the project manager would be required to schedule meetings, develop timelines, and ensure strong communication flow among team members and with key stakeholders.  This role is also expected to maintain comprehensive project documentation. Lastly this role would assist in the identification, communication, and resolution of project risks.

 

What You Will Do:

 

Project Initiation & Planning 

  • Partners with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope, deliverables and management expectations, initially and ongoing
  • Develops project charter & scope - secures appropriate leadership approval
  • Ensures project is appropriately funded and calls out potential risks (project costs across all functional groups)
  • Ensures team is adequately resourced 
  • Facilitates Continuous Improvement Reviews and New Product Launch Reviews
  • Identifies, communicates, and plans for critical project risks

 

Manages and communicates project timelines issues and risks 

  • Manages overall project timeline and integrates all key project activities
  • Defines and maintains project’s critical path, including global deliverable dates
  • Alerts leadership of project’s critical path items

 

Drives team communication / flow of information and decision making

  • Schedules and chairs cross-functional project  team meetings, including project meeting notes and team decisions.
  • Leverages latest collaboration tools and technologies to facilitate information sharing and effective tech transfer
  • Ensures learnings are captured throughout the project and leverage lessons learned from prior commercialization initiatives to optimize the bundle
  • Ensures project files and documentation are organized and accurate within a share drive. Facilitates knowledge transfer to new project leads and hand offs to regions.

 

Manages team activity and execution of the work plan 

  • Ensures subject matter experts follow-up on specific accountabilities 
  • Anticipates potential global requirements and works with global leadership to bring the project deliverables into alignment with existing global initiatives 
  • Provides input on team member performance

 

Build Project Management Capability

  • Collaborate with functional partners to align on standard processes and approaches, updating as needed
  • Participate in development of formal tools and training. Delivering as needed.
  • Informally coach team members in the application of Project Management tools
  • Seek external best practices related to Project Management to apply within Colgate/Hill’s

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 2+ years of familiarity with Project Management tools & processes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Certification (CPMP, CAPM, PMP) 
  • Strong negotiating and communicating skills, listening and influencing skills and team building with emphasis on utilizing these skills to improve team performance
  • Helps the team identify problems and resolves conflict


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
