We are looking for an experienced CRM Operations Manager that will empower and enable our marketing teams to execute, optimize, and expand our data driven marketing strategies and activations to drive business growth, consumer & professional segmentation, and engagement across all digital channels (email, paid media, web, etc.) using advanced database, technical, and analytical skills. This role will help architect solutions for complex data driven, CRM, and digital marketing campaigns using available technology, datasets and partnerships to support business KPIs and objectives. They will also help lead our organization with future forward best-in-class digital transformation solutions and opportunities for our marketing technology and data driven ecosystem. As a member of the Hill’s US CRM team, you are someone who enjoys high profile, challenging projects as we continue to build the most personalized and advanced CRM program in the pet nutrition industry.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as the business Product Owner and expert for CRM and Web activation and personalization tools (I.e. Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)); leading administration, configuration, implementation, and optimization for technology strategies, activations, and tactics, in partnership with Global IT (GIT) and outside agency resources.
- Co-develop with GIT the road map and strategy for a best-in-class marketing technology stack that supports company goals.
- Assist with the implementation, configuration, development, and management of all marketing technologies, activations, and tactics within our tech stack including SFMC, SFDC, CDP, and other digital activation platforms within our marketing tech stack.
- Train and support marketing staff on using web and marketing technology tools and processes
- Develop and document scalable processes that ensure best practices in marketing technology and web operations
- Act as the central point of contact for intake and development of stakeholder business requirements, ensuring efficient coordination and alignment with the broader CRM marketing strategy
- Own and manage the development backlog prioritization with our technical workstreams, partners, and agencies through Agile methodology, creating and developing tickets, use cases, and required documentation.
- Co-own the CRM Marketing database architecture for our CDP and SFMC platform, to ensure strategic audience targeting and efficient email campaign execution, and facilitate CRM reporting and analytics.
- Drive and own the data strategy, ingestion, integration, mapping, and data validation within our CRM tech stack and systems including (Data Cloud CDP, Snowflake, SFMC, Google Analytics, Adobe AEM) for seamless data source ingestion, flow, hygiene, usability, and library documentation, in partnership with GIT.
- Drive data strategy and integration for additional activation tools in our marketing technology tech stack which may include, but not limited to: Movable Ink, BazaarVoice, Attentive, MessageBird, Marigold Grow (Cheetah Digital).
- Partner with cross functional digital marketing partners and agencies to architect solutions and operationalize cross functional data driven cross channel campaigns and initiatives requiring data and technology dependencies, capture, integration, and personalization
- Monitor and report out on the growth and trends of the database
- Write SQL queries, extract/transform/analyze data to build audience segmentation, generate reporting, derive insights, direction, validate, and troubleshoot
- Establish and enforce email marketing best practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations and/or MarTech
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- 3+ years of experience with Data Cloud or another Consumer Data Platform (CDP), CRM System, and/or DataLake
- 3+ years of experience supervising and managing direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agency experience

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
