Job Purpose

As part of Team Norway, you will lead our professional products portfolio & our relationship with the Dental & Pharmacy Industries. You will work with our local and Northern Europe team on strategy, marketing materials, dental fairs & exhibitions, academia, and market access. You are an important link between our Consumer Experience team and CDM/KAMs; working with the local Norwegian team (including an Oral Care Consultant in the field) and with counterparts across Denmark, Finland, Sweden, UK and Ireland. 
 

What you will do:

  •  Identify & develop professional marketing strategy and brand plans across our professional product & therapeutic product portfolio.
  •  Build & develop independent relationships with dental and pharmacy and patient associations, establishing Colgate-Palmolive as the go to key partner for oral care expertise and patient wellbeing.
  •  Proactively identify commercial opportunities, including market access. Work with Customer Development & Consumer Experience teams to implement recommendations & tactics that drive growth. 
  • Develop a successful marketing approach, leading and utilising the tools built to enable Colgate-Palmolive to provide outstanding communication. Including materials that are patient facing (information leaflets, pharmacy marketing, digital marketing etc.) and industry facing (educational presentations, email comms, event stands, websites etc.) ● Share industry expertise across the wider Colgate Palmolive community to deepen understanding of the Dental & Pharmacy industries. 
  • Plan and attend events, exhibitions, seminars, academic lectures and deliver presentations to audiences ranging from healthcare professionals, to pharmacy staff, to dental students.
  • Owning and delivering against an advertising & promotion budget. Planning activities, leading POs, processing invoices & crafting vendors. 
  • Line management of an Oral Care Consultant (field representative and this will include setting targets, building development plans, delivering relevant training & providing educational assets. 

 

Who you are:

  • You are experienced within the Norwegian Dental or Pharmacy industry, with a patient focused approach. You may have worked as a pharmacy field sales manager, a brand manager on pharmaceutical products, or experience as a pharmacy KAM.
  • You are able to implement marketing plans across physical & digital channels, targeted at both healthcare professionals and consumers. You are aware and conscious of regulations regarding medicinal products and can use this information to build educational learning and drive dental / hospital recommendation as well as incremental pharmacy sales.
  • You are naturally curious – a self-starter with a natural curiosity, constantly looking for opportunities to develop solutions. You will uncover market access opportunities, build existing relationships and uncover new opportunities to partner with dental bodies, patient associations, pharmacies, educational institutes and hospital wards.
  • You are a juggler – you are tenacious & flexible in your ability to set, prioritise and lead multiple priorities. You are consistent under pressure, remain clear on your priorities and can organize your own workload.
  • You are a patient champion – you put patients at the heart of everything you do and enhance opportunities for patients to come into contact with our products to improve their quality of life.
  • You are a deliverer of results – your proven track record to deliver business plans that benefit patients, our customers and Colgate Palmolive.


What you need to have:

  • Knowledge of the Norwegian Dental & Pharmacy industry. 
  • Understanding of licences & regulations regarding medicines.
  • OTC Field Based, Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical industry, Marketing and/or KAM experience
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Strong presentation & personable skills 
  • Proficient in written & spoken Norwegian & English Preferred 
  • Digital Marketing experience
