The Senior Tax Analyst will work on US international tax forecasts and compliance, manage aspects of the US international tax compliance process and support special tax projects. This individual will work collaboratively with the tax and finance teams to ensure seamless, timely, efficient, and accurate tax forecasts and compliance. The candidate must have a good knowledge of US international tax rules and regulations as well as compliance experience.

 

What you will do

  • Prepare US international tax calculations such as GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, 987, 986(c) and PTEP
  • Analyze and explain key drivers of variances in forecasts and return to accrual
  • Support with Sec. 861 expense analyses and foreign tax credit utilization
  • Assist with tax research of US International tax issues
  • Prepare US international tax forms such as Form 5471, 8858, 8865, 8992, 8993 and 1118 and ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Support the collection of financial and tax information from overseas subsidiaries
  • Prepare IRS audit ready documentation and support with IDR requests
  • Assist with external audit requests
  • Stay current with changes in US International tax law and regulations
  • Provide support on special projects, including automation, process improvements and  implementation of tax law changes or new regulations

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of experience in international tax compliance
  • Must demonstrate proficient use of tax software
  • Solid knowledge of US International Tax laws and conducting research
  • Ability to travel 10% travel annually as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Masters in Accounting or Tax
  • Public accounting experience
  • Must be highly motivated, very organized, proactive and keen to learn new technology tools such as Alteryx and Google workspace 
  • Experience working collaboratively and effectively with teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $94,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
