Position Overview:
In the role of Senior Director, Global Professional Oral Care/Dental Strategy & Innovation, you will have an executive-level position within Colgate's Enterprise Oral Care organization and report to the Chief Professional Engagement & Public Health Officer. You will provide global direction for our professional engagement strategy and innovation to achieve revenue and margin growth across the dental and pharmacy channels while building the equity of Colgate-Palmolive's global brands across the profession.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced dental industry professional who is a digital expert and is comfortable operating in a matrix, fast-paced organizational environment, with proven experience in the creation and oversight of strategies and product innovation. This position also requires expertise within the digital health and pharmacy channel, as well as understanding of the future dental care models. You should be comfortable leading cross-functional teams, developing and selling strategies, and leading global implementation.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Developing globally scalable strategies for professional engagement and innovation which includes Scientific Communication, Technology Innovation, Connected Health, Professional Education and Equity strategies with clear goals, priorities and resources to achieve measurable results
- Accelerating the digital engagement transformation, from dental school throughout professional practice, to improve professional lifetime value for Colgate
- Championing the importance of dental profession strategy throughout the organization and providing the business case for internal resource requirements.
- Developing our strategic priorities for product innovation and aligning on resources with the supply chain and regulatory functions, as well as path-to-payment strategies, in coordination with innovation teams across the Colgate Divisions.
- Tracking and measuring the impact of professional engagement and investment on overall business
- Professional Advocacy:
- Commercial (selling) strategy development, consistent record in growing sales
- Digital engagement with dentists, digital marketing/commerce, digital health models
- Leading multi-functional teams in the development of digital engagement strategies for key professional partners: DSO’s, practicing dental professionals and KTL’s
- Implementing a strategy to engage university students, including the process for tracking and measuring results.
- M&A strategy ownership to achieve growth and strategic goals, including the evaluation and identification of acquisition opportunities
- Representing the professional business point of view in global Go-to-Market initiatives ranging from Connected Health, Pharmacy business building and brand demand generation models
- Collaborating with Global Digital teams on CRM and MarTechStack strategies for professional engagement
- Developing and tracking KPI’s for strategies and building analytics capability for the dental profession to track impact of profession on equity and business performance (consumer and professional products)
- Collaborating with the Customer Development/Sales function on pharmacy strategies to support innovation development
- Providing guidance and expertise to consumer products which require professional strategy as part of the demand generation business model
Minimum Qualifications:
- Dental Degree (Must be a dentist)
- Commercial experience in the Dental Professional field/pharmacy channels
- Prior work experience within another major, multinational company
- Digital proficiency and experience within the health and pharma space
- Experience with new product innovation, professional product development and business model creation
- Business partnership experience working with senior business leaders to influence strategy and business decision making
- Prior Experience managing a P&L with growth targets in a business selling to/from professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling entire breadth of a global organization
- Cross –border experience
- Consumer Goods industry experience
- Creative thinking, problem solving skills, and a never-ending desire for learning
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with both business and technical professionals

Salary Range: $177,600 - $260,400 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance-based bonus and competitive benefits package.
