THE ROLE:
The Senior Director, Brand Leader (Elta MD & PCA Skin) will report to the EVP Skin Health Group and will lead a team of 8 people. The Global Brand Leader must have the ability to lead his/her team in order to work in close collaboration with the cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Innovation, R&D, Digital, Design, HR) and with the US Skin business team. The position oversees the definition of the global marketing strategy across the entire scope of the brands’ DNA. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of marketing and communication and digital plans across the different international markets.

Design the global brands strategy

Coordinate the international expansion of the brands with the teams in Paris

Manage all the marketing and communication, including :

Product Development

International Trade Marketing (incl. merchandising & trade tools). Not sure we do merchandising today

International Training Development. We don’t do that

Studio Design. You mean about the packaging

Digital. Same don’t think they do it today

Media strategy and media buying

Consumer Insights and Panels

Collaborate with doctors, aestheticians, dermatologist to fine tune product development

Global Advertising campaigns

The Brand Leader will:
-
Set the brands’ strategy collaborating with Skin EVP and in close collaboration with cross functional teams.

Develop a long term innovation strategy (3-5 year plan) in close collaboration with Colgate Palmolive
-
Express a clear, coherent and contemporary vision for EltaMD and PCA Skin capitalizing on what is already in place.

Execute global marketing plans

Develop, implement, and ensure a fruitful launch strategy for new products, in order to develop emblematic Skincare brands.

Proven track record of developing high-end deluxe Beauty brand platforms.

Develop communication brands platform (both online and offline)

Manage and develop the teams

Manage marketing budgets

Implement efficient and innovative communication & digital policies (360° scope) which correspond efficiently with brands’ objectives: develop briefs and orchestrate their implementation internationally, plus in Travel Retail environments,

Relay the values and guidelines in terms of product mix, PLV, Communication, Visual Merchandising, Education and In-Store Excellence to the operational planning division, ensuring the success of commercial policies in each of the concerned markets.

Highly comfortable with leading and motivating passionate, expert teams, the Candidate will have a flair for marketing and products of excellence, as well as a structured and strategic approach to the role. He/she has a precise and assured eye for modern and trend setting aesthetics.

Highly demanding, the Candidate knows how to work with an entrepreneurial approach, within a corporate minded environment, remaining focused on results and performance, while building long term plans relevant to the Group’s strategic guidelines. He/she likes to be close to their teams and puts themselves on the ‘front line’, both when dealing with daily operational tasks (essential “hands-on” culture) and with more strategic subjects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in marketing or relevant field

Skin care expertise within product development
-
20+ years of professional experience in a senior Marketing Director or Global Brand Director role, with international exposure.

Depth of expertise in analyzing and interpreting trends and market insights through data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional skincare experience

Business experience in China market

Excellent oral and written capacity to communicate with a wide range of audiences (salesforce, journalists, retailers, distributors, institutional)

Able to operate effectively in a multicultural environment

Proactivity – sense of urgency– autonomy – takes initiative

Experience managing, mentoring and developing team

Excellent stakeholder management, internally and externally
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $225,000.00 - $275,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
