As a critical lead of the eCommerce team, you will drive the professional digital experience to new heights, with a keen understanding of the Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (COP) business. You are a cross-functional effective leader that overcomes challenges, while managing the day-to-day business operations. As a change agent, it will be important to bring the broader professional organization along on this journey; to have fun learning through both failure and success; and to bring an innovative mentality.

 

 

The B2B eCommerce Manager will manage site operations, merchandising, marketing, and day-to-day execution to drive traffic and sales across the B2B platforms. In addition, you will own and drive the ongoing digital roadmap defining new opportunities to drive growth through the business channels. As the key professional touch point, the sites must promote and deliver an outstanding shopping and education experience, while simultaneously achieving monthly sales and conversion KPI’s, all while growing Colgate Professional lifetime value.

 

 

What you will do

  • Report to Sr Director & GM DTC & Personalized Marketing on performance, sales results and build a long term strategy to grow the B2B eCommerce business. 

  • Influence & onboard Colgate Professional Sales Team to drive incremental growth on website, develop marketing material & training

  • Be recognized as the subject-matter expert in the B2B e-Commerce experience across the organization.  

  • Develop strategies to drive awareness, traffic and conversion, including but not limited to: performance marketing, search, in-office, social, influencer, and PR to support growth plans and key initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver short and long-term tactics that elevate the end-to-end customer experience.

  • Manage third party agencies on the development of marketing campaigns and on-site engagement, including optimization to drive visits and sales.

  • Lead and develop the site merchandising strategy and UX/UI experience to drive sales.

  • Responsible for championing the B2B digital roadmaps, including organizational change and training, working closely with Global IT, Marketing, Education, and Sales to enable new capabilities.

  • Partner cross-functionally on CRM and email marketing strategies to drive professional engagement as well as professional lifetime value.

  • Lead comprehensive site testing and optimization program to drive outstanding site usability for professionals.

  • Partner with Global IT to influence global tech capabilities and roadmap 

  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly sales reporting. 

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce or related fields. 6+ years of experience with MBA/Masters.

  • Experience in leading B2B and/or DTC businesses.

  • Proven track record in driving incremental revenue by leveraging performance marketing, pricing, and product performance.  

  • Experience in developing marketing tactics to drive traffic and improve conversion.  

  • Expertise in using data to make strategic decisions on site usability, UX/UI, and optimization.

  • Proven track record managing product merchandising and assortment to drive online sales.  

  • Excellent in collaborating and working with cross-functional teams.  

  • Ability to analyze website performance metrics and drive user behavior, translate metrics into actionable insights, and grow online sales through optimization of user engagement.

  • Comfortable with leading cross functional decision making processes with all levels of people.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Extremely resourceful and efficient with managing day-to-day tasks while considering long-term growth plans

  • Efficiently manage various situations with calmness and clarity.

  • Experience with B2B eCommerce platforms like Shopify, VTEX, SAP/hybris, Gigya, etc.

  • Detail oriented, reliable, resourceful and driven for results professional

  • Design standard processes or Human-centered design skills

  • A strong, creative problem solver who is self-motivated and tenacious when tackling tough issues

  • Ability to operate independently given direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised.

  • Web analytics experience a plus with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Core Metrics, Google Analytics recommendations backed with facts/data.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $115,000.00 - $163,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
