We're looking for a passionate and dynamic Insights Analyst to join our Global Growth & Innovation Team at Hill's Division. This role will report to the Sr. Insights Group Manager and will work on qualitative, quantitative and analytic projects

What you will do

  • Understand human needs both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of studies and services that enable our peers and stakeholders across varied business units, customer segments and product lines.
  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine
  • Support identification and analysis of trends for development of messaging and new product concepts
  • Analyze and support optimization of innovation concept success KPIs (from vendors and measures such as IPSOS, M/A/R/C, BASES, and Conjoint).
  • Support post-market innovation performance indicators including distribution, sales, and incrementality.
  • Work with internal/external vendors (optimize dashboarding, data collection, repeated ad hoc requests) and also adoption of resources to broader team for self-service analytics
  • Leverage knowledge of numerous data sources including qualitative,quantitative, and third-party sources to “connect the dots” and identify strategic opportunities to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with key functions (global analytics, shopper insights, consumer insights, category management, innovation) to define business issues, research objectives, and indicated actions.
  • Communicate research / analysis findings with commercial team and management effectively
  • Establish partnerships cross functionally with peers/colleagues locally and globally to support training, standard methodologies, and best practices
  • Proactively provide consumer thought leadership
  • Proactively identify improvements and/or new methods that can address team needs
  • Actively problem solve by anticipating potential issues
  • Identify and conduct trend spotting around the globe
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years of market research/insights experience
  • Experience managing the execution of agile, online or in-person discussion or quant research
  • Experience moderating in-person and/or online qualitative research
  • 1-2 years of Advanced Analytic skills and ability to connect across numerous data sources
  • Experience using social listening tools
  • Advanced level of Excel and Google Suite
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen or IRI) and Consumer and Panel data
  • Ability to advance projects with little to no direction
  • Presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Capable of working on a cross functional team
  • Strong personal leadership to effectively coordinate among multiple internal and external teams

 

Salary Range $77,120 - $101,220 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
