What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

Colgate-Palmolive is looking for an IT Audit Compliance Expert to join its growing Governance Team. The incumbent will work closely with the discrete business areas, as well as the Global Information Technology functional organizations across the globe.

We are excited to invite applications for the position of IT Audit Compliance Expert, who would be responsible for leading and handling the compliance of the Global IT organization with all internal IT policies and external regulations 

This role involves coordinating with the Global IT organization the development and implementations of IT policies and controls to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standard processes.

 

Who are you…

 

You are a function expert - 

 

 

  • Design and configure of SAP GRC Process and Access Control suites with configuration, administration and workflows
  • Define policies, procedures, strategy for IT process to be aligned with SOX
  • Handle IT audits globally (internal/external), Coordinate with audit teams, report to IT senior management
  • Evaluation of controls to test its effectiveness
  • Assist IT team with resolution of observations raised during internal or external audit.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes and controls to ensure compliance with GIT policies and procedures
  • Follow up with Control owners to ensure compliance
  • Engage people responsible for Audit findings to ensure that the issues are closed appropriately and timely
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on audit findings, recommendations, and status of compliance for senior management and team members.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for IT staff and relevant partners on GIT policies and procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned from audits and compliance activities
  • IT Internal and External Audits

What you’ll need…(Required)

 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
  • 9+ years experience in IT audits and Corporate governance.
  • Knowledge of the US SOX compliance regulations
  • Deep understanding of IT General controls under SOX regulations
  • This role requires a strategic problem solver with a deep understanding of both SOX compliance and IT audit management, along with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

 

What you’ll need…(Preferred):

 

  • Experience with Audit management applications
  • Relevant Academic certifications is needed
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and industry-standard processes
