What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
Colgate-Palmolive is looking for one who can build applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.
The successful candidate will be a vital part of the HR Applications team supporting various technologies like Successfactors, Salesforce and integrations with various vendors for HR data exchange.
The purpose of this position is to help develop the new reports and interfaces on the ABAP Environment in the SAP BTP based on RAP along with exploring all other services of BTP to build robust applications.
The candidate should expertise in playing a role to explore any technical areas required to help HR business.

You are a technical expert -

This position is for one who would be responsible for the following
-
Build reports using restful application programming. This includes building up new UI and processing frameworks.

With a focus on performance optimization building applications which is able to process large data with quality checks

Developing unit tests to ensure code quality

Understand business demands and translate them into development solutions

Show a high grade of motivation and passion in improving solutions and explore technologies
You connect the dots -

Your proficiency in the technical area of RAP programming/ UI5 development will help us rewrite data exchange mechanism from Successfactors employee central
You are a collaborator -

You will be get opportunity to collaborate with our key partners and design solutions for HR business
You are an innovator -

Your innovative ways of building applications is going to help HR business needs of building new reports and UI applications.
What you’ll need…(Required)
-
Master’s or similar degree in computer science, engineering, business information technologies or related fields.
-
2+ years of experience in ABAP development.

Experience in RAP programming
-
Should have strong hands-on knowledge in ABAP technologies
-
Ability to learn any newer technology.
-
Builds on and applies existing knowledge efficiently
-
Builds documentation along with developing the objects
-
Build and maintain application code that adheres to coding standards
-
Complete detailed unit testing to validate that the coding meets requirements effectively.

A teammate to work along and learn in helping each other grow.

Knowledge on below area is added advantage

SuccessFactors, SAPUI5 and OData

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
