What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
We are seeking a Specialist, Network Security Engineer / Sr. Specialist, Network Security Engineer to join its growing Global Information Security organization.
The Specialist, Network Security Engineer / Sr. Specialist, Network Security Engineer will work closely with the Operational Technology organization, as well as the extended Global Information Technology Infrastructure and Manufacturing teams across the globe.
This exciting position requires in-depth experience and knowledge of both Network Security and Cyber Security Technology.

The candidate will lead the design, build, management of security solutions across the globally distributed manufacturing environments, while also providing governance and ensuring alignment to security best practices.
You connect the dots -
Your proficiency in experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, IOT, SCADA or industrial control system.
You are a collaborator -
You will work closely with the Operational Technology organization, as well as the extended Global Information Technology Infrastructure and Manufacturing teams across the globe.
You are an innovator -
You should require in-depth experience and knowledge of both Network Security and Cyber Security Technology.
What you’ll need…(Required)

Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, IOT, SCADA or industrial control systems.

IT/OT network design expertise, including network isolation and segmentation strategies for the IT/OT environment

Network Firewall rule design and implementation, Palo Alto Networks preferred
-
Partner with the WAN and LAN teams to review network architectures and resolve if security best practices are being applied
-
Partner with the Global Security Operations Center to ensure network security monitoring is conducted effectively

Awareness of evaluating security vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing remediation

Awareness of maximising industry standard methodologies for cloud security, GCP experience preferred

Understanding of charge vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are maximised by malicious actors preferred
What you’ll need…(Preferred):
-
Ability to quickly assimilate new technologies, tools, internal/external systems and design frameworks is a required requirement. Strong and broad technology background is greatly preferred.

Ability to think with a security approach. The successful candidate must have a strong IT background with in-depth knowledge of corporate application access control, network routing and packet analysis and cyber threat analysis.

Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to interact directly with others that do not have a security background and be a security spokesperson throughout the Manufacturing and Supply Chain organizations.
