What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s IT team?

 

The IT manager, Network & Security will be leading the datacenter and cloud environment operations consisting of switches, Wireless, firewalls, remote access (VPN) and load Balancer. The individual should have hands-on experience on crafting network / security architecture and critical problem solving skills along with exposure to compression devices, packet analysis. Should also have adequate knowledge of network & information security policies, configurations and problem solving skills to resolve production incidents with minimum business impact. The candidate should be having experience on people management and mentoring team members. You will have an opportunity to learn cybersecurity tools as well.

Who are you…

You are a functional expert

  • Leading architecture & operations of Datacenter & Cloud networks that includes domains like LAN, Load Balancers, Remote Access, Security, WAN and Wireless
  • Perform investigation and diagnose common network problems related to Datacenter/cloud provide resolution.
  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network & security solutions with network modeling, analysis and budget planning.
  • Proactive Monitoring and network performance analysis for preventing issues.
  • Security vulnerability Management
  • Proficiency in configurations of various LAN, WAN & Wireless technologies and correlate it with LAN / Security tools
  • Maintain production network reliability through accurate utilization of IT standards and governance processes
  • People development and management.

  • Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA
  • Use right IT project management guidelines to align with governance practices
  • Able to analyze root cause, ability to correlate different components of technology while handling broader issues / threats.

  • Collaborate with GIT, business & functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, network testing and implementation of project
  • Mentor and coach team members.

 

You are an innovator -

  • Conduct performance tuning to improve network performance over multiple business processes
  • Stay updated with the innovative tech and adapt to these changes by self-learning and evaluate how they can add new value to the business.

 

What you’ll need…(Required)

 

  • Engineering Graduate with proven experince of 7 or more years
  • Professional certification as CCNA, CCNP and Firewall certifications
  • Hands on experience on Cisco switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma / GlobalProtect and Wireless
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and decision making skills
  • Problem solving
  • Experience with synthetic monitoring and alerting configuration associated with network and application technologies a plus

What you’ll need…(Preferred):

  • CISSP or specialisation in cyber security domain is a plus
  • Experience in Network Firewall rule design and implementation (Palo Alto Networks preferred)
  • Experience in querying and analysis in a SIEM tool (Splunk experience preferred)
