Roles and responsibilities:
What the job incumbent will do?
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Regularly review Travel and Expense (T&E) policies and procedures & highlight the areas of improvements.
- Verify that all necessary supporting documentation, such as receipts and invoices, is attached to the expense reports
- Ensure that reimbursement requests comply with the company's reimbursement policies and guidelines.
- Verify that expenses are allocated to the correct cost centers or expense types
- Coordinate with finance teams & process reimbursement requests in a timely manner to ensure that employees are reimbursed promptly.
- Participate in special projects, supports testing and training needs
- Analyzes expense data and trends to identify deficiencies & opportunities
- Acts as a subject matter expert for transaction-related issues.
- Conduct training & awareness sessions to enhance compliance to policy
- Communicate with employees to resolve any issues or discrepancies in their expense reports in a timely manner
- Provide guidance and clarification on reimbursement policies and procedures.
- Generate reports and summaries related to reimbursement activities for management and auditing purposes.
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in the reimbursement workflow & collaborate with stakeholders for implementation.
What experience and knowledge will the incumbent bring?
- Minimum years of work experience preferred is 1 year
- Qualification - B.Com
- Proficient knowledge of G Suite & Excel
- Prior experience of working on SAP & Concur (preferred)
