Job Summary:

 

The Media Performance Lead  should be an experienced and dynamic individual who is able to drive media strategy adoption and execution across both digital and traditional channels for the Division. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of data-driven media planning, buying, and reporting, with an ability to track and optimize media performance across various touchpoints, including retail media, to enhance customer engagement throughout the ACPL. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Media Strategy and Planning:

 

  • Develop media strategies that align with business objectives and marketing goals to support the  Brand Growth Plans
  • Support the local teams in identifying & building data-driven media audiences
  • Support hubs in determining the most effective media mix to reach audiences across awareness, consideration, purchase, and loyalty stages - fit for each local market
  • Incorporate sufficiency planning and thresholds to ensure media investments are optimized to achieve balanced reach and frequency objectives
  • Continuously evaluate media plans to ensure they are sufficient in delivering the required impact and guide local teams to adjust strategies as needed to align with business priorities

 

Media Buying:

 

  • Guide and support local teams in executing media buying strategies in line with Colgate's media principles and Media Golden Rules
  • Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions with local teams and WPP to maintain consistency and excellence in media buying practices across regions
  • Work with Global Procurement to maintain media fees & deliver efficiency across all fixed and non-fixed media costs


Performance Tracking and Reporting:

 

  • Utilize analytics tools such as Datorama and WorldView Media to track media performance across various channels and touchpoints, including digital, traditional, and retail media
  • Work with local media teams and agencies to track and measure media sufficiency
  • Manage & optimize the AED Datorama environment alongside the agency teams to build effective dashboards to increase reporting effectiveness
  • Support MMM studies across the local markets and brands - guide local IBE and media agency teams on MMM best practices
  • Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze media performance data and recommend adjustments to improve campaign ROI
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually refine media strategies
  • Understand & recommend how AI can support media strategy across the division
  • Plan media training and upskilling initiatives across the hubs


Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (local and divisional),  including brand teams and customer development teams, to ensure media campaigns are aligned with overall brand growth plans and commercial objectives
  • Work closely with agency teams to drive best in class media practices and support for our division
  • Build and maintain presentations that showcase media excellence across the local markets within our division
  • Present media performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in various forums that require insights from IBE teams


Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media planning, buying, and performance analysis, preferably in the agency environment supporting a CPG business 
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional media landscapes, including retail media
  • Proficiency in media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Nielsen, WorldView Media  etc)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Experience with programmatic and data-driven marketing strategies
  • Experience with Datorama and BI tools
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and market research methodologies
