About The Role

As Trade Marketing Specialist you will create and share compelling stories with Customers that provide insight to how shopper behaviors are influencing our categories, serve as the category expert by delivering insight-based engaging category presentations and highlighting opportunities. Will establish a proven customer relationship based on building thought leadership. As category specialist, you'll scorecard and supervise the execution of 5Ps to ensure success in all that you do. Applying category analysis, shopper insights and other available analytic tools you will apply your expertise to drive solutions for Colgate and our customers!

 

What You Will Do

  • Develop and supervises retailer events strategy

  • Develop 5P (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion & POP) Strategy by retail environment

  • Lead GTM process and develop execution guidelines for Innovations and shopper activities

  • Build shopper solutions based on Retail/Customer and Shopper knowledge

  • Drive category shopper marketing needs and priorities.

  • Collaborate with Customer Development Team leaders to assign objectives to achieve strategy’s results and priorities by business types including shopper studies

  • Actively participate in CBP Subject area and perform analysis of RE versus plans monthly performance review volume, sales, level of investment, GTN, market shares, distribution, 5Ps, and adjust strategies based on findings and opportunities

  • Analyze and approve plans by RE in order to ensure alignment with strategies and priorities to meet estimated sales, market share, ASP and margin objectives.

  • Develop plans and actionable recommendations based on knowledge gained from post-evaluations ensuring these are included in the strategies

  • Analyze Market and Internal Data to correctly gather shopper insights

  • Find opportunities and develop action plans based on main findings

 

What You Need (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related

  • At least 3 years in sales roles or adjacent experiences in consumer good companies

  • At least 1 year in Field Sales (Indirect Trade or Pharmacies)

  • Budget-management skills and proficiency

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Intermediate-advanced English Level
