Get in the Game: Dive into the Role
Step up as our Key Account Manager for Hill's in Perú and provide a direct interface with specialist pet retail distributors at customer level to ensure optimal execution of Hill’s 6Ps. Ensure Hill’s is the strategic partner of choice in the assigned stores and gain business support to grow SOM and Sales. Explore and execute the addition of new clinics / hospitals in the distributor current routes (2 to 3 per month), communicate and execute the promotional Grid defined by the BDM with their distributors being managed. Promote a commercial mindset within the veterinary union (commercial training for Veterinarians). Implement tactical activities to support the commercial execution.
Your Mission: What You Will Do
- Achieve sales targets for the assigned country.
- Plan and execute call value activities (coverage, frequency, productivity) based on store classification.
- Report calls and maintain records promptly for the territory.
- Annually review store potential and identify new potential stores.
- Develop deep knowledge of customer's business and build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Identify and develop business propositions for opportunities in stores to ensure superior execution of the 6P’s.
- Implement activities to achieve sell-out growth, full product distribution, and improve visibility and endorsement by store staff.
- Implement eCommerce basics and follow up on the 6Ps; establish shelf space and inventory standards as per Perfect Store guidelines.
- Increase recruitment of new Hill’s brand users through trial programs and collaboration with IBE team.
- Develop and implement annual business plans, schedule business reviews, and provide support through training, seminars, and merchandising initiatives.
- Monitor territory objectives, manage the budget, and represent Hill’s at relevant industry events.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with the head office.
Must-Haves for Success: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Intermediate BI experience.
- 5+ years of total experience
- At least 1-3 years in the commercial area managing distributors directly.
- At least 1-3 years of field sales experience.
- At least 1-2 years coordinating with cross functional teams such as marketing, CS&L, Retail Mkt and technical areas.
- Time and travel availability
- Experience in the consumer goods industry.
- Advanced Excel for handling large amounts of information.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- DOMO intermediate skills or willingness to learn.
