We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of the maintenance activities across all areas of production, utilities, and facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our operations. As the Maintenance Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager of Plant Operations and lead a dedicated team of approximately 40 individuals while developing the Maintenance strategy to drive performance at the site. 

 

As the  Maintenance Manager, you will:

  • Drive a structured Preventive Maintenance program using SAP PM/EAM that drives the reduction of Unplanned downtime (UPDT) and unexpected equipment breakdowns
  • Lead team balance and address performance and accountability through coaching and feedback
  • Responsible for the Maintenance budget and ensuring return on investment on activities
  • Develop a plant maintenance strategy consistent with operational excellence initiatives
  • Support plant maintenance planning activities
  • Build and manage equipment history and a major maintenance  program
  • Manage maintenance team schedules and technician staffing levels
  • Lead, calculate and communicate maintenance related KPIs defined by Operational Excellence Standards
  • Identify individual training needs and work to create development plans
  • Work closely with third party storerooms on parts management and in achieving the defined goals for this area
  • Support partnerships between maintenance and operations, creating a customer/provider relationship
  • Support GMP, Calibration and Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional plant members in the development and management of the plant maintenance budget
  • Perform inspections (prior to and after) maintenance of machine, adjustment, replacement of parts, overhauls/rebuilds, for critical equipment
  • Maintain and analyze equipment data and history records to optimize the maintenance program 
  • Ensure maintainability of new installations through the creation of the proper maintenance strategies for them in the SAP PM/EAM system
  • Identify chronic and costly equipment problems and provide cost effective solutions for them.
  • Implement Continuous improvement (CI) projects to reduce UPDT and improve reliability of equipment to improve the overall Asset Utilisation and cost efficiency 
  • Provide technical advice to Production and Maintenance Teams including breakdown and troubleshooting support to improve Plant uptime and reliability
  • Partner with the engineering team to run key critical equipment maintenance and reliability including process water system
  • Ensure accurate operation and care of equipment
  • Work with the Maintenance Engineers to establish a comprehensive lubrication program
  • Ensure employee safety from unsafe equipment conditions and equipment protection from environmental conditions
  • Ensure Maintenance Shop, Store Room and Utilities Areas are kept accordingly to the 5S & VWP Standard

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years maintenance work experience in a manufacturing, production or operation environment
  • At least 2 years of people management experience
  • Proficient with SAP on Maintenance modules 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business or related field
  • Experience managing projects and using project management skills and tools
  • Blow Molding technology experience
     


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $102,400.00 - $151,200.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
