This position is a central role in the Budget & Planning team for CEW hub, covering Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Budget and planning is responsible for commercial performance management and forecasts for the region.
 
Key responsibilities for the position include:


Budget / Latest Estimates planning

  • Lead and support the development of the budget and latest financial estimates.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, including brand P&L, sales growth and margin analysis.
  • Effectively leverage budget planning procedures and streamline processes to increase efficiency.


Category Business Partnering

  • Take financial responsibility and perform in-depth category analysis.
  • Act as a business partner by providing support and financial insights to the commercial and marketing teams.
  • Analyze the profitability of brands and track sales and share of market (SOM) development.
  • Prepare and evaluate the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement for product innovations.


Reporting & Month End

  • Take ownership and provide support for the month-end closing process.
  • Perform detailed analysis of monthly P&L, including brand performance and price / volume drivers.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports.
  • Develop and implement commercial tools to drive business efficiency.
  • Oversee master data management and ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required, providing financial expertise and insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in economics / accounting / finance.
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years’ experience, preferably with a multi-national company.
  • Analytical and results oriented.
  • Strong understanding of SAP-related applications (i.e. SAP S4, BI tools).
  • Advanced skills in Excel & Google tools (Sheets, Docs & Slides). 
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of major FMCG dynamics and trade partners.
  • Ability to promote teamwork, demonstrate drive, and proactively take initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. German language is an advantage.
