Job Summary: 

As Warehousing & Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for Identifying and implementing efficiency projects that impact the distribution process and reduce the logistics cost of the Company. Support the process of national distribution ensuring process efficiency, excellent service and cost efficiency. Lead the process with transport companies under the standards required by Colgate. Manage available resources in the Distribution Center (personnel,storaging areas, equipment and services) to guarantee fulfillment of sales' objectives through on time shipment to local customers complying with EHS and Quality standards.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of coordinating transport for national distribution
  • Responsible of generating logistical efficiencies through the load, savingon freight, route optimization, etc.
  • Responsible for Freight to Customers Logistics cost.
  • Lead to warehouse & distribution team responsible for routing, billing freight, etc
  • Comply with an adequate work area and safe procedures through fulfillment of Corporate Standards and training.
  • Guarantee resources availability to operate the DC without disruptions (equipment, pallets, personnel)
  • Follow up and continuously improve Warehouse KPI´s
  • Contribute with the implementation of EHS& Quality Corporate Standards


Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or  related areas
  • At least 3+ years in similar job positions in multinational companies
  • Knowledge of EHS, Quality and FP&R
  • Intermediate English Level
