JOB SUMMARY -
This position will serve as a business partner to all employees at the Gebze Facility by providing support in employee relations, performance management, organizational development, training, talent management / succession planning, recruitment and other workplace initiatives, to drive operational excellence within the organization.
The HR Mgr will provide leadership and counsel to employees in issue resolution, policy and process development, policy adherence, and process renewal to lead compliance with Colgate policies, as well as local employment legislation.
The right candidate will be able to meet the day-to-day requirements of the Human Resources department while maintaining a strategic and operational view that links the role of H.R to business needs. The position will also provide project leadership for HR initiatives and activities that support the Facility and will work closely with the site Leadership team to meet plant objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Develops and coordinates programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the plant.
- Conducts a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.
- Defines all Human Resources training programs, and assigns the authority / responsibility of Human Resources and managers within those programs. Provides vital education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports.
- Leads the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans (PDPs) and employee development programs.
- Establishes an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation or onboarding, management development, production cross-training, the measurement of training impact, and training transfer.
- Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the company with regard to employee relations.
- Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.
- Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Manages all labor relations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -
- A Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- Deep understanding about local law & regulations
- Experience in unions management
