Senior Business Analyst – Customer Development 

 

Colgate Palmolive seek to employ a senior business analyst for our Customer Development category. In this exciting role you will be tasked with streamlining, and adding value to, business processes, using technical solutions by:

 

  • Working with leading edge SAP & Analytics  technologies to meet business requirements – eg. S/4 HANA, CCM, C4C, BW-IP, G Suite, Snowflake

  • Participating or leading complex projects of a cross-functional and global nature

  • Acting as a regional or global expert for processes within CD

  • Ensuring appropriate business involvement in project teams to create IT solutions that truly meet business needs

  • Owning and developing the business relationship with Customer Development stakeholders within the Divisions / Hubs / Subs.

  • Applying conceptual knowledge and technology to solve complex business processes and procedural problems.

  • Manage and/or perform the design, testing and application of SAP systems in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.

  • Supporting change management requirements to drive adoption and maximise business utilisation of technology solutions.

  • Delivering assignments with full compliance to required project management standards.

  • Leading and participating in data migration, consolidation and system upgrade projects 

  • A strong understanding of modern analytics needs and the relevant technologies used and the ability to gather requirements from our business counterparts to build what is needed.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or Engineering or other related discipline and appropriate SAP qualifications required 

     

    Business & Technical Experience:

  • Strong business process knowledge/experience in Sales and Distribution, in particular around customer pricing and trade agreements (preferably within FMCG industry)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, including configuration, in SAP modules related to Sales and Distribution processes, Trade Promotion Management and ECC/S4 integration

    • Pricing and Rebates

    • Billing and Invoicing

    • Integrated flows with MM and FICO

  • Full SAP implementation lifecycle experience an advantage

  • Understanding of Customer Development Business process in the areas of sales, customer planning 

  • Experience in Customer Hierarchy design and realignments

  • Excellent facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong skills in senior stakeholder management 

  • Ability to clearly communicate and navigate between business, functional and technical teams 

  • Ability to work with remote teams essential, minimum 1 year experience required working on a global project

  • A high level of project management experience would be a distinct advantage

  • Basic level of ABAP programming an advantage

  • Fluency in English is essential
