Resume of the Position:
The overall responsibility of the role includes the Implementation and Support of Bar Soap across Latam partnering with BIG, Marketing, Supply Chain to Deliver NP Grid, FTG, IoCs, Harmonization & simplification for Bar Soap portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver assigned projects working with Consumer Innovation Centers, go-to-market teams and Global Supply Chain.

Support knowledge and technology transfer in manufacturing sites across regions and work as part of divisional Funding the Growth and simplification teams to develop and implement Margin Improvement Projects including formula, raw materials and process improvements.

Interact with business partners such as Consumer Innovation Centers, Technology Innovation, local marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Environmental Affairs, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS), Technology Insights, Legal, Supply Chain and Product Development.

Submit and follow-up on invention records and research reports.

Support the conceptualization, design, management and data analysis, including implementing new technologies, and conducting clinical trials.

Responsible for formula development, stability evaluation and communicating results with other functions.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Working under general supervision, develop new technical leads, processes, methods and services by applying the fundamentals of technology for assigned projects.

Adhere to the baseline timetable for all key activities to support formula implementation and start-up.

Deliver timely results against assigned grid projects.

Develop, validate and implement assigned regional and local bundles.

Adapt and implement assigned global bundles through line extensions.

Substantiate claim support and ensure compliance with local regulatory needs and corporate quality standards.

Validate formula and process robustness and Key Release Specification with local raw materials and local manufacturing after Product Development does the formula robustness in designing the global formula.

Implement divisional Funding the Growth, simplification and margin improvement projects.

Suggest improvements to manufacturing processes; take direction from supervisor as to strategies for simplification of portfolio and materials; review supplier documentation and raw materials; support Experimental Manufacturing Orders and production start-ups and resolution of quality issues.

Provide local connection to consumer insights, competitive activity and external visibility to regional scientific communities.

Communicate learning from implementation work via research reports, invention records and/or patents, and presentations to internal business partners and senior management, etc.

Compile data required to ensure and conduct efficient technology transfer; anticipates, identifies and communicates potential issues.

Ensure accurate documentation such as notebooks, necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), claims dossiers, and bundle books are maintained.

Understand and use safe handling procedures for corrosive chemicals, gases, high pressure steam, flammable solvents, and fine particle size powders.

Interact with other functions, including Safety, Process Development & Innovation, Micro, Analytical, Statistics, Technology Insights, Regulatory and other groups as needed.

Comply with, coordinate and execute Good Manufacturing Practices and Environmental Affairs, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) activities; take preventive and corrective actions to mitigate potential EOHS or Quality incidents.
What do you need for the position?

Bachelor's Degree: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Material Science, Biotechnology or Cosmetic

At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience in Consumer Goods Industry in R&D, Manufacturing, or related

Advance level of English language

Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (docs, slides, sheets)

PDM / SAP experience (desirable)
