About The Role

The Professional Consulting Veterinarian (PCV) for Mexico City and surrounding states is responsible for meeting important metrics defined between the PVA and the Customer Development team through the influence of veterinary specialists and (mainly key account) achieving the highest sales and recommendation results. The main role of this position is visit and training veterinarians, staff of clinics, hospitals and pet stores teams with in-depth nutritional, product, and executional knowledge in order to earn veterinary recommendation, drive sales, coaching the Territory Managers and grow share. The PCV will be empowered to position Hill's as a valuable partner across all channels in which Hill's products are sold, as we strive to transform the lives of people and their pets!

 

What You Will Do

  • Being on the field with clients around the following states: Mexico City, Puebla, Veracruz, Tuxtla Gutierrez and Merida

  • Provide expertise and technical support to key account customers on product selection & usage and support to key account customers requiring higher levels of knowledge & advice surrounding all Hill’s products

  • Working closely with the PVA team, the PCV develops and implements the strategy for external education, ongoing skill development, and validation of learning.

  • Champion a broad approach across PVA and CDO to win in each corporate group, clearly defining and prioritizing professional and commercial activities by group based on opportunities

  • Manage Vet Affairs programs and support commercial teams

  • Leverage Hill’s digital education programs and resources 

  • Monitor trends in the vet profession and maintain competitive assessment nationally

  • Seek opportunities to strengthen our relationships with KTL

  • Focuses training around reinforcement of foundational knowledge, product superiority, technical understanding of new product innovation, and flawless execution of commercial initiatives.

 

What You Need (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine (MVZ or related)

  • Active veterinary license and clinically competent

  • 2+ years of small animal clinical practice experience or industry

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as extraordinary attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability to travel 2 weeks per month

  • Active driver license

  • Advanced English Level
